Appreciating the little things in life means taking time out to focus our attention on what is meaningful and sustaining in our lives and learning how to practice gratitude for those everyday things that are easy to take for granted.
Positive emotions relate directly to our physical and mental health. They affect our immune function, psychological well being and creativity.
Being able to spend just a few minutes to take our minds away from the hustle of everyday life enhances creativity and productivity.
We need to slow down and savor the little things to stay mindful and renew our creative energies.
Being mindful is becoming more and more difficult but it is necessary to enhance and increase the presence of positive emotions.
