Without a doubt, we are in the slow “period” of the cruise season. There is lower traffic at the airports. Not as much surge money out there with only a handful of cruises leaving on Saturday and Sunday now….. PAUSE! Wait just a few seconds there honcho….so from the “prospective of the glass being half-empty”…does that mean making up to $700 (plus $65 cash tips) in 7 days with UberX in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale market is not possible? Wrong!
Yes, you can! I can prove it! It is possible even in the so-called “slow season” as the Yellow Cab drivers often refer to it…to make up to $700 in 7 Days in the middle of May — when there are fewer events, all of the snow birds have left and returned to their homes in the North, when everyone and their grandmother has apparently signed up to be a Uber Partner (lol!). There are still great fares to be made with UberX…you just have to set your goals and use a few proven ridesharing tactics to maximize your income with UberX. Change your Mind and change your Life!
I took the $700/wk Challenge in the middle of the slowest time of the year for tourism deliberately to prove that ridesharing is still a great opportunity in the “slow season”. Stick around for even more income potential when Halloween comes around and the winter season goes into full gear. Take this time now to learn and finetune your ridesharing skills with the “Seven Ridesharing Tactics for Making up to $700 in 7 Days” so that when the season picks up very shortly (i.e Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Eve)…you can bring your A-game to streets and push the pedal to the metal and really score some great Weekly Earning Statements on the Uber Partner app.
The Uber partnership program is one-of-a-kind. You get 100% transparency! With #UberLegalinMiami, this is a great time to jump on the bandwagon with a Uber partnership. Let’s break down this Weekly Earning Statement…I averaged 10 trips a day over the 7 days and scored 49 hours on the Uber app. While you can’t really compare it to a 40-hour work week – go ahead…but is there really a comparison (upon closer examination)….I had 100% flexibility for when I went to lunch. I had 100% flexibility if and when I wanted to take care of a few errands.
Best of all — I was my own boss all week long +++++.
The Uber partnership gives you the tools and resources you need to succeed. Don’t have a car? No problemo…Uber offers leasing programs with no mileage caps with just a small minimum deposit with no down payment for all credit levels.
To get started, the first step is to click on the “Apply to Drive” link on the sidebar and fill out the short form to get started.
There is no fee to sign up to become a Uber Partner so you really have nothing to lose!
Drivers Wanted….drive daily, get paid every day!
…It’s all within reach….change your Mind and change your Life!
Updated @ 12:53pm 5/16/2016…final tally for May 9 – May 16 (weekly cycle ending 4am): $766.56.
Updated @ 9:28pm 5/16/2016…received my TripLog report…only spent $80.85 in gas to earn $767.24.
Even though the season is supposedly “slow” and there was no surge pricing factored into my Weekly Statement for May 9 – 16 when at the height of the tourist season, my surge revenue can account for 25% – 30% of gross Uber earnings, I was still able to have a great week. Making money with Uber is what you make it to be. You can have low traffic and still convert really well regardless. Based on my TripLog report, miles driven between May 9 – May 16 was 1,241. With the IRS mileage deduction of $0.54/mile, my business deduction for mileage was $670.14. So, tips basically paid for gas which happens a lot and nice tax deductions for mileage, meals (50%) and interest on my car loan.
Updated @8:48pm 5/16/2016…final statement processed by Uber for May 9 – May 16……I handed out quite a few of my Uber referral cards to my riders and informed them that they can share them with their friends and family for a free $20 Uber credit for first time riders. Two Rider Acquisition Reward credits popped up at the last minute! Nice!
I have left those cards all over the place wherever I go….at the supermarket, the laundry mat, etc. You never know when they might come in handy…someone might be stranded one night (i.e. fight with girlfriend after a night out at dinner or a bar)…no cash just credit card and ID.
The net payout for May 9 – 16 with the 2 last minute bonus referrals: $731.56 + $65 cash tips = $796.56.
Just $3.44 shy of $800 for the week. I knew I should have taken one more Uber request. 🙂
The Uber app stated that I spent 49 hours online May 9 – 16 to earn $796.56…..it is really hard to say how many hours per a week I worked because working for Uber is as easy as clicking the “Go Online” button on the Uber Partner app and waiting for a request. I could be strolling through Miami looking for a local Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks (love their banana nut bread) and the app is scanning for new riders.
So, let’s just say that I worked a regular 40 hour week and earned $796.56 and tips pretty much paid for gas…using an online weekly pay calculator, it estimated that I earned $19.90/hour or $41, 382 per a year (assuming I pushed it 52 weeks of the year like May 9 – 16)….not bad for an app and some effort!
Just imagine the potential, there are Uber partners out there working 60 hours online on the app. Uber never tells you when to start your shift or end your shift. You are the boss…you have 100% flexibility.
Looks like a great opportunity…beats $12 or $13 per an hour at the Mall…that’s for sure!
